RDHS volunteers provide care for the animals at the Revelstoke City Shelter on weekday evenings and weekend. We receive the adoption fee from all animals at the pound. In return each animal that is adopted out is spayed/neutered, dewormed, defleaed ( if necessary), vaccinated and tattooed.
Our spay and neuter program,We provide assistance for those on a limited income in attempt to control overpopulation in our community. The amount of assistance provided is determined through a “means test” based on Stats Canada median income levels for Revelstoke.
RDHS wants to improve the welfare of animals in the community through programs and services in sheltering, education and protection. If you would like to volunteer call 250-837-8578 (RDHS) to view animals call 250-837-4747.(animal control)
Hello,
I work the Friday night shift with hubby Bob. Have taken some pictures and wondering if there is a good way to post them.
I took a nice video of Thelma(very short) but she looks quite lovely posing.
Anyhoo it would be nice if there was some place we would actually go and talk about the kids on occasion and share pictures.
P.s. You’re doing a great job!
PPS I see I can subscribe here by email. I shall do that..
